This is the right time of year to spot the wonderfully weird eejitus equinoxi. Having hibernated away from the Scottish cold harsh winter for months, it pops out of it’s hidey hole as soon as the first warm rays of spring sunshine can be seen. It leaps around for joy, delighted at the change of fortune, dancing and skipping through the countryside.
However, it’s not long before it is begrudgingly forced back into its burrow. Spring time doesn’t last long in the Highlands…..!
