eejitus nobreatheunderwateris has been left behind in the evolutionary race to dry land. It used to be found swimming quite happily in the cold lochs but as it slowly evolved, instead of growing strong legs to carry itself out onto the shore, the first thing that changed was it’s ability to breathe underwater. Now it’s usually spotted drowning or clinging to a floating tree branch gasping for breath.
